Grass is always..

I drive to work and pass this homeless man on the corner of Bundy and Santa Monica…he’s laying with his legs crossed, head strategically placed on an old pillow reading “Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” as of late. I can’t help but think maybe this guy has it all figured out while the rest of us are scratching up this invisible, endless hill from hell.

Fake Figures

I am now playing with Fake Figures with members Travis Miguel  (Atreyu), Rus Martin (Eyelid, Hotwire), Bob Bradley (Scars Of Tomorrow), and Justin Pointer (Nightfall, SSNOVA).  We’ll be playing at the Slide Bar in Fullerton on May 5th.  It’s super heavy, hard driving rock from hell and I like it a lot.

New Job

I believe that everything is timing in a sense.  The new School of Rock in West Hollywood is opening on the 3rd week of November and I got hired to be a guitar instructor!  I’m stoked because the staff is full of excellent players and I love the concept of teaching musicianship and good music to hungry minds.
